Presentation
The T-DOSE organisation calls for proposals for talks. All open source related presentations are welcome. Possible subjects for talks include specific software development projects, but also practical application of open source in schools/institutions or industry, open standards, community management, programming languages, open internet applications, legal aspects, historic developments, hackerspaces, etc.
As a guideline, a presentation should take about 40 minutes + 10 minutes for questions. Please contact us if you want to use a different format.
Workshop
Apart from generic presentations, there is also room for workshops at T-DOSE. A workshop is more interactive, and may require preparation for the audience. The topic should be relevant to open source software or hardware. Clarify clearly what special needs there are for your workshop; for example, desks, power outlets, etc. We will not be able to facilitate all types of workshops and are restricted by what our venue can support.
As a guideline, a workshop should take a multiple of a whole hour - while leaving some time for room changes and buildup. Please contact us if you want to use a different format.
Project stand
We are open to registrations for participation in the bazaar, where stands will be available to open source projects and other related groups to present themselves to the public. Stands will be placed in a central information market area.
We expect people to be present at their stand on both conference days.
