Mox is a modern, secure, all-in-one mail server. Its goals are to make it easy to run your own mail server, securely. Helping you stay in control of your data, and helping keep email decentralized.
Running a mail server has a reputation of being hard to do. Lots of software is needed for a working system. And there are concerns about deliverability: Does your email make it to the recipient's Inbox or not?
In this talk, we'll look at what it takes to securely accept & deliver email messages, and what mox does (including smtp/tls/acme/spf/dkim/dmarc/dane/mta-sts). We'll look at some specific features enabled by mox's integrated nature (including junk filtering), and we'll look at current development topics and future plans (including automating dns changes, encrypting all the files & automating updates).
I enjoy making software and sharing it!
