Mox is a modern, secure, all-in-one mail server. Its goals are to make it easy to run your own mail server. So you stay in control of your data, and help keep email decentralized.
Running a mail server has a reputation of being hard to do. Lots of software is needed for a working system. And there are concerns about deliverability: Does your email make it to the recipient's Inbox or not?
Mox makes it easy to run your own mail server by providing a single application (in a coherent/consistent code base), taking care of all (or at least most) of your email needs.
In this talk, we'll take at what it takes to run a mail server and what mox does. Then we'll look at some specific features enabled by mox's integrated nature, and we'll look at current development topics and future plans.
I enjoy making software and sharing it!
